Rebecca Berg, MA, LPCC

If you’re feeling stuck, overwhelmed, disconnected, or discouraged, you’re not alone—and it
doesn't mean something is “wrong” with you. Emotional pain isn’t always a problem to be fixed.
Sometimes, it's just a signal that something needs your attention. Maybe parts of you feel distant
or silenced. Maybe grief, anxiety, or old wounds are surfacing. Or maybe you're navigating a
transition—early adulthood or aging, parenthood, a career shift or retirement, a loss.
Therapy is an opportunity to slow down and listen inwardly, and that can be helpful in a world
that often expects us to just keep going. I specialize in depth therapy and dreamwork for adults of all ages, with a particular interest in the questions that often arise in the second half of life: Who am I now? What’s ending? What’s emerging? What am I for?

Our work together may involve exploring your personal history, processing grief or trauma,
gently unwinding unconscious patterns, or working with dreams or waking images. I may pause
our conversation to ask, What are you noticing as you say that? Where do you feel that in your
body? Or we might explore what’s happening between us in the moment, using the therapy
relationship itself as a window into your relational patterns. My approach is collaborative, non-
pathologizing, and grounded in deep respect for your inner world. I want it to feel safe for you to
bring your full self into the room—including the parts that may feel too messy or raw to put into
words.

My style also emphasizes attuned listening. That means I aim to listen without agenda—with
true openness and curiosity. It means I commit to being fully present so I can tune in to the heart
of what you’re saying. If you're curious about working together, please contact me to arrange a 30-minute video consultation so we can see if the fit feels right.

I believe that the path to growth and self-discovery is a collaborative journey, and I am here to support you in that process. My approach to therapy is rooted in compassion, curiosity, and a deep commitment to understanding your unique needs and experiences. Whether you are navigating anxiety, depression, life transitions, or relationship challenges, my goal is to create a safe and supportive space where you feel seen, heard, and empowered to make meaningful changes in your life.

I specialize in working with attachment patterns and how they impact relationships and overall well-being. I understand that early experiences shape the way we connect, and I work with clients to explore and heal attachment wounds that may be influencing their current relationships- both with themselves and with others. By utilizing a blend of experiential therapy and emotion regulation techniques, we can explore these deep-rooted patterns and foster healthier, more secure connections.

By reading this, you've already taken an important step, and I'm here to support you as you take the next one- you don't have to navigate this alone.

Sometimes our conditioned tendencies prevent us from living the life we want to live. I believe therapy can be a laboratory, of sorts, to explore these obstacles and learn to live more in line with one’s desired values. I use humor, trust, and a genuine relationship so that you can cultivate the skills necessary to improve the quality of your life. I work with individuals from a variety of backgrounds with issues ranging from grief and loss, shame and guilt, life transitions, anxiety, and substance use. My work is influenced by Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), experiential therapies, existential therapy, and a variety of mindfulness practices. I will work with you to help explore obstacles, and reconnect to a life of healing, vitality, and purpose.

We all strive to be better versions of ourselves. We all need connection, purpose, and meaning to facilitate growth and inspire the change we long for in our lives. I enjoy working with people who are motivated, open, and genuinely curious to learn more about themselves. By allowing the unconscious to become conscious, it can help you experience greater freedom and agency in your life. What obstacles are currently preventing you from having happier, healthier relationships and becoming the best version of yourself? Together we will work to understand your individual needs and learn how to help you attain your therapeutic goals.

I specialize in an integrative approach combining Psychodynamic and Existential-Humanistic approaches grounded in neuroscience. I will help you identify patterns, where they came from, and help you attain more freedom to move forward. We will explore the meaning and purpose in your life to help facilitate authentic connection to yourself and others.

It is commendable that you are reading this right now and even considering taking this step towards change. If we choose to work together, I will work to create an environment where you can explore vulnerable parts of yourself and take risks. I hope to help you know your authentic self and to cultivate deep and meaningful relationships in your life.

Life’s challenges—pain, disconnection, struggle—are inevitable, but imagine navigating them with a compassionate companion and guide. The ability to sit with discomfort and uncertainty enhances the capacity to better respond to those challenges.

Through the use of individually-tailored evidence-based interventions, I aim to collaborate with you to meet your goals and to facilitate an environment where growth and change are possible. I seek to help clients foster greater connectedness and conscious choice moment to moment.

Additionally, I am dedicated to embedding values of belonging and cultural humility into my work in order to honor and include the unique identities, relationships, and systems each client is a part of.

Together, we will work to restore a sense of vitality and imagination to life, cultivating the capacity to more fully live with both the joys and sorrows.

Integrated holistic healing is not unidimensional, nor could it be. The concept of integrated healing is one which encompasses the whole. That being the mind, body and spirit of an individual. As an integrated health coach and mental health counselor, this is not simply my job, but my calling and deepest passion. Helping guide individuals who seek a deeper understanding of their inherent sense of wholeness, freedom and liveliness. As a former collegiate athlete, personal trainer, and integrated health coach, responsibility and overcoming adversity are in my blood. These experiences matched with the teachings found at Naropa University allow me to bring forth an alternative approach to mental health counseling.
